Yasser Ismail, PhDc, MBA, ASCPc

Dr. Ismail has been involved in cutting-edge science and technology in the US for
for the past 27 years. He served in many academic, professional and industrial roles during that time in some of the most prestigious institutions, including Brigham’s and Women Hospital (Boston, MA USA), a Harvard Medical School Teaching Hospital working in Clinical Chemistry, while conducting research on Molecular Dosimetry for DNA Adducts at Northeastern University, (Boston, MA USA).
Yasser began his post-graduate studies professional career in September 2001 at Waters Corporation (Milford, MA USA), where he worked for 10 years in various global product development, management, and marketing roles. Subsequently, he managed Waters consumable business globally for the Pharmaceutical Division before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, MA USA) in October 2010 as Director of R&D, with responsibility for the development of a novel class of mass spectrometry clinical analysers, integrating company-wide technologies and the acquisition of enabling innovative intellectual properties. He was named Managing Director for Thermo Fisher Scientific Middle East in January 2014 and moved from Boston USA to Dubai UAE to create a local presence for Thermo Fisher with a Customer Experience Centre, a training facility, and a team of talents.
Yasser is a graduate of Alexandria University Egypt, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. He received an MBA from Northeastern University School of Business Administration (Boston, USA), while pursuing a Doctorate in Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences at Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University (Boston, USA), subsequent to a Master of Science in the field of pharmaceutical sciences from Northeastern University school of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions (Boston, USA).
Reem El Bahtimi, MD, FCAP

Dr. Reem El Bahtimi, is an American Board Certified Pathologist in Dermatopathology, Clinical and Anatomical pathology. She has completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, followed by a fellowship in Dermatopathology at the Medical University of South Carolina, under the directorship of Dr. John Maize.
Dr. Reem is a Clinical Associate Staff at Sunnybrook Health Science Center in Toronto, Canada. She is also the Founder and Medical Director of Dermpath Consult, a full-service laboratory dedicated to Dermatopathology. Prior to Dermpath Consult, Dr. Reem was the Medical Director of the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) from 2012 – 2015. She was practicing as Consultant Clinical and Anatomic Pathologist, and Director of Dermatopathology at the American Hospital Dubai from 2000 – 2012.
Mohamed Youssef, B.Sc., MBA
Technical, R&D Director, Co-founder
Mohammad Youssef is the Technical and R&D Director and partner of Amerispec Diagnostics in 2016 in Dubai. Mohamed is responsible for method development, validation, and overseeing all testing activities in the laboratory to ensure rapid economical and efficient turnaround of high-quality test analyses.
As a Toxicologist, Mohamed has gained more than 15 years of experience in United States top diagnostic laboratories and in one of the top leaders in Mass Spectrometry industry companies. Prior to Amerispec Diagnostics, Mohamed served as an Application Scientist at Agilent Technologies and part of the clinical applications team developing mass spectrometry methods for clinical research and forensic laboratories. Prior to that, he was a Clinical Applications Specialist at UMass Memorial Medical Centre. Mohamed’s insight and experience combined with his independence and positive attitude have led to many successful application development projects. Mohamed occupied different vital roles in clinical laboratories such as Mayo Clinic and Quest Diagnostics and primarily worked as an independent consultant for developing Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry methods for multiple clinical and pain management laboratories throughout the United States. Mohamed passion for science, diverse interests and background in clinical and forensic toxicology, and drug testing had always been great factors for his sustained contribution to the field of clinical mass spectrometry.
Mohamed is a graduate of Alexandria University (Egypt), where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He received a bachelor’s degree in Toxicology from School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (Boston, USA), and recently an MBA from D’Amore-McKim School of Business at North-eastern University (Boston, MA).
Ahmad Al Kadi, Pharmacist, B.Sc.,
Business Development Manager
Ahmad Al Kadi is Amerispec Diagnostics Business Development Manager.
During his professional career Ahmad led different premier roles in multinational pharmaceutical companies in UAE, such as Novartis Oncology, Hoffman La Roche and Eli Lilly. He had a successful track record of over 9 years of experience in business development, market access, sales, and marketing in different areas such as Oncology, Haematology, Nephrology, Diabetes and Thalassemia. Ahmad is a Registered Pharmacist. He graduated from Beirut Arab University with a bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, and currently pursuing an MBA at Manchester Business School.
